Today was a special day in our Science module: a day spent close to nature together with the children's parents!

Science is a module that contains a wide range of knowledge about the nature that surrounds us and a number of simple experiments so that children can practice their understanding of it. Today, together with one of our most important partners, as well as one of the most significant institutions in the country for preschool education – Shalom Center – we decided to organize a science hour outside the school premises: in nature! The children learned about the natural ecosystem, all the key components it includes, and then managed to explain them to our special visitors: the parents, who were more than happy to join us today on our little adventure.

The children and parents were divided into groups of two or three, and after carefully putting on their work gloves and preparing the glass jars, they began collecting samples from nature around them with a clear goal in mind: to build a miniature ecosystem with their own hands. The children practiced all the knowledge they had learned while having immense fun and spending valuable time with their parents. Communication is the key to achieving great results. After carefully following all the steps, each group successfully completed the project, and each one turned out beautifully.

Scan Television was informed about our little adventure and joined us with curiosity to see firsthand what we develop during our sessions. As a result, an interview was conducted with the co-founders of the program, an interview that you can find... here.

Heartfelt thanks go to all the wonderful participants who made this day so special, such as the adorable children of Shalom Center along with their amazing leader, their parents, the staff of Scan TV, as well as the employees of the National Park who made us feel at home throughout our visit to the park.
